Eosinophilic myocarditis: The above histological sections demonstrate myocardium with increased number of perivascular chronic inflammatory cells admixed with eosinophils, some clustered in micro-abscess lesions. Some scattered eosinophils are also present between the myocardial fibers (see arrow in figure C).
